The Makings of a Floating Deck

Why a floating deck? The main characteristic of a floating deck is that well, it "floats" on the ground and therefore there is little concern of shifting or warping due to frost. It does not require post hole digging nor is it attached to a structure and therefore is generally easier to build and typically doesn't require a building permit (check your local regulations).
